Can't connect to Home PC
with VPN

I have a Win XP home PC
that I am trying to
connect from my work
Laptop running
Win2000.
My Home
PC (XP) is hooked to a
Netgear wireless MR314
router. I have opened up
ports (500, 1723, and
3389) on the netgear
router. I can access my
home PC from my work
laptop using windows
Remote Desktop
Connection. However, I
can't access it using VPN
(created VPN connection
from windows 2000 'make a
network connection'
feature).
Can
anyone please help me?
