Can't see the domain with W2k VPN?
----------
I have a win2k VPN server (int nic = x.y.z.10, ext nic = internet ip address) that is not a member of our NT 4 domain, but it has an internal NIC that connects to the PDC/BDC subnet (x.y.z.0 with a gateway of x.y.z.1) via a router at x.y.z.12. I installed RRAS/VPN and I am able to connect to the server, but not the domain. I can only use a local user on the VPN server to connect...domain accounts do not work.

what routing, ip address pool, and other settings do I need to:

1. logon using a domain username
2. browse the domain

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

domain
----------
Hi,

If your are not a member of a domain you can't see it. You have either to be a trusted domain (another domain) or a member of the actual domain in order to see it.
