been tasked with finding
the best possible VPN
solution for our
corporate network.
Currently, we just use
RAS on Micrsoft Windows
2000 server. However, it
seems to have it's
shortcommings.
We
have problems where DNS
resolution of inside
machines does not occur.
VPN users, when trying to
resolve interior names,
get no response because
their clients talk to
their ISP DNS before the
inside DNS. Plus, these
connections do not work
from some
places.
Do Cisco
VPN solutions have these
same problems? Are there
areas where you just
cannot use VPN services?
Does Cisco also
experience internal name
resolution issues?
Any feedback
would be greatly
appreciated. |
