DNE Error when trying to download the VPN
----------
hi, i've found a few people who have had the same problem as i am when trying to dl the VPN, but i must be stupid cause i don't understand how to fix it cause maybe the answers were too technical.

i have a windows xp and have been trying to download version vpn 3000 4.8.01, but every time right before it can complete installing, i get this error:

"InstallDNE
Error: DNE installation requires a reboot first. Please run this install again after restarting the computer"

a couple months ago i was using the vpn just fine and it had downloaded without any problems. i think maybe when i was getting rid of some junk files on my computer i some how deleted something necessary for the application and it stopped working. please help me out. i can't seem to find someone who knows how to fix this problem. thanks!

I too am having the same problem. I've emptied my Cisco Registry folder and was told to delete the DNE but my computer refuses to allow the DNE to be removed. Thus, every time I attmept to execute the VPN setup I get the same message that the other user has posted. Can you help?

I know that it doesn't help, but did anybody solve this problem. I have the same problems and couldn't fix it. Even deleting some keys from registry didn't help.
