it is a vpn is supposed
to do. When a remote
office connects to a vpn
server at the central
office through a vpn
appliance or router at
the remote office it lets
the central and remote
office computers act as
if they were on the same
network with transparency
for the user. As opposed
to having individual
client pc's connect to
the central office's vpn
server.
