VPN is up and running and
I can connect to the
other side? I have a
symantec firewall/vpn on
this side (LAN) and a
linksys vpn router on the
other side (LAN). I am
very confused by this
setup, and I am not sure
if I am doing it right.
What will I see if I am
sucessful and how will I
be able to access their
LAN? Thanks. | SOS Member since: 2002-06-19 05:06:26 | posted: 2002-06-21 04:38:28 You may want to try this ---------- Hi! You will be able to
know if you are connected
to the tunnel if you view
the status page of the
router and it says that
you are connected. But
since you are on the
other side of the tunnel
where you are using a
Client software, you
should have gotten a
message that you are
connected after setting
this up. With regards to
accessing a remote drive
or location, you may want
to try this: Go to
Start-Run. Then on the
Open field type // then
the IP address of the
computer you are trying
to access. Make sure this
IP is included in your
remote secure gateway. |
