significance of having 2
phases for the IKE
protocol? I understand
that Phase 1 establishes
and SA which is used to
protect Phase 2
negotiations and the SA
established in Phase 2 is
used to protect the
actual data. What is the
need for 2 phases? If a
hacker can hack phase 1 ,
can he not get the data
too?
