Am trying to find out whether this new model operates as a VPN server and if I need client or Server software to use with it. New to this game so any suggestions would help as I haven't bought it yet. Using win98 for OS.

I don't think it acts as a VPN server. It allows VPN traffic pass-through which is very different from a VPN server. There is no mention of VPN client support in their documentation.

Ok, I have the SMC Barricade 7004abr working perfectly but now I need to know the specifics as to what I need to put in the viewer screen as to name or nbr to get to the server at the office. I have downloaded the free winvnc program and have the viewer set up at home but I have to get it to talk to the office VNC Server. I have read all it's info but still don't quite know how to set it up. ANy Help out there?

Bruce
