Problems accessing Intranet
----------
I'm having a really strange problem. Have set up our Watchguard Firebox II for VPN, setup a laptop. All works fine, browsing the network, Outlook, etc etc. When using IE to connect to our Intranet it just sits there saying 'Opening from http://intranet'. I can ping 'intranet' fine and also it's DNS name 'www.cge.intra'. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on here? If you do you should work for Watchguard as there support guys had no idea, they just told me 'We don't support Windows networking issues'.....is that what I pay my support subsciption for lol.

I have had the same issues trying to punch through to my proxy server while coonected via VPN. I would check to make sure all the DNS settings are correct (search order) and that you have checked bypass proxy for local addresses. I recognize that this is a local issue. Do you have any issues getting to the internet?
