at home. ---------- I have vista, and would
like my new connection
that is supposed to
accept incomming
connections..... to
work.
The purpose
of me setting up this VPN
is so that when i am at
work i will be able to
access all of my mapped
network hard drives.
Im using a
Linksys WRT54Gv8 / GSv7
Router with: DD-WRT
v24 RC-4 (10/10/07) micro
- build
8151M
Router IP:
192.168.1.1 VPN server
IP:
192.168.1.100
On
my local network i have
my
laptop 192.168.1.111And then again, the
computer that is supposed
to accept incoming
calls. 192.168.1.100 I got my laptop to
connect to my desktop via
the VPN but when its
connected, my desktop
will not send any packets
back to my laptop. But my
laptop will keep sending
packets to my
desktop.
At the
same time i go to connect
to the VPN locally, my
internet doesnt work. but
i can still access my
mapped
drives.
Now, WAN
speaking.
What do
i have to do, to get my
laptop to connect to my
desktop from
work? Both of my
firewalls are off on the
laptop and computer.
Help please? if
anyone has time, and is
on aim, please add me and
help for a minute if you
can. Aim
