| Topic: STOP ASKING FOR USERNAME
AND PASSWORD WHEN LOG ON
WITH CERTS |

and password when log on
with Certs ---------- Trying to logon to the
VPN client only with
certificate and pin
number. It recognizes my
certificate asks for a
pin, enter then pin
number and everything is
fine then it asks for a
username and password.
Once I enter the username
and password it logs in
successfully.
I do
not want it to ask for
username and password if
I am using certificates
and pin number.
Does anyone know why
VPN pushing this
multifactor
authentication? This
is causing problems with
email and network drives
once you login.
I
think it is the
configuration of Active
Directory that is being
over looked, or maybe it
is not verifying the
certificates with active
directory that is why is
asks for username and
password.
In the
application Event viewer
on the VPN client the
error is EventID
1054: Cannot obtain
the domain controller
name for your computer
network
Thank you

systems:
vpn users
list(username and
password) radius
server.
both the
vpn userslist and radius
server provides
authentication.some vpn
routers provide combined
authentication systems
which wants both the
username and
certificates.I believe in
your case you have the
vpn router which supports
both the authentication
systems. |
