is not Reachable ---------- I am new to working with
VPN. I am using MS
Advanced Server, W2K. I
do not have a domain but
is there a way to access
my computer via TCP IP
address or another means?
I have a DSL connection
using a D-Link Router,
running an ethernet home
network, although I am
trying to access via DMZ
to bypass any firewall
issues. How do I get
visibility to my server
via the Internet? Do I
need to purchase a domain
or is there an other
alternative? Please
advise -- a
rookie. Thanks in
advance for your help. | Davis648 Member since: 2002-05-03 09:41:37 | posted: 2002-05-03 13:02:16 Fix to my problem ---------- I did find out my IP
address via WhatsMYIP.com
and all is working
fine.
I used this
IP address in my client
VPN connection.
I
will need to open up some
ports on my DSL-504
router but it is working
out on the DMZ. |
