VPN Providers

I am not a technical
person and know very
little about VPN's other
than my organization has
provided us with
one.
I have
several friends who would
like to have access to a
VPN. Because I know so
little about this I am
hoping that someone might
be able to help me or
direct me to a source
that could help me find
businesses that offer use
of a VPN to the general
public.

What do you mean by a
public VPN?
VPNs by
their very nature are not
public.
I'm not sure
what your asking, please
clarify.

Sorry I wasn't too
clear.
By "public"
I didn't mean that anyone
could access
it.
By public I
meant companies who offer
VPN services to the
public, i.e., for a fee I
can contract with "X"
company who will then
provide me with access to
a VPN.
I hope
that's
clearer.
