Internet ---------- I have three office
locations. A Head office
with out SBS2000 Server,
a warehouse and a remote
store.
Currently
these all connect using
slow expensive
ISDN.
We want to
put a satellite on the
head office server a
satellite on the remote
store and use wireless
networking to connect to
the warehouse.
If
i use VPN on the sbs2000
server, when the remote
store is connected with
the other computers in
head office still be able
to access the internet
through the
server?
Also, do i
have to buy a router for
the oncoming vPN
connection or another lan
card connected to the
server+satellite do the
job? The satellite comes
with a modem as a posed
to a router, will this
work?

an availible port off the
Sat. and on the back end
a proxy or nat server. | Otlawjr Member since: 2002-06-26 11:34:29 | posted: 2002-06-26 11:39:38 router ---------- sorry, yes you will need
some kind of hardware or
software based router for
your VPN. Depending on
your connection volumes I
would recommend a
hardware type like
sonicwall or watchguard. |
