VPN connectivity speed
----------
Hello Friends,
I need advice from you all regarding a VPN connection setup i am using. Complete details is mentioned below:

Setup
-- -------
We have vpn connection connected through linksys vpn router, at one end we are using rv042 in india, at other end rv082 in US.

We were using a software for data entry work with client version in India and server version in US

Problem
---- ----
The software was being used at client end in India and also in their local LAN in US. The connection & software was working fine at both ends, the only thing was the speed in India was about 1/4th of that in local LAN in US.

Recently with the motive making the software faster and adding new features, a newer version of the software was launched and installed here in India and in US. Now the connection & software has become much faster in US Based local Lan, and 10 times slower here in India. Previously the software was using port 10000 and now it is using port 9222.

Internet connection speed in India is 512kbps & the one in US is 1MBps.

I shall look ahead to your views and suggestions.

Thank s
