VPN connects is ok! But unable to brows website

i do wonder why when i am using my VPN remote access client windows xp to connect to the VPN server windows 2000 server then during i am usign VPN remote connection on my VPN client Windows XP, my windows xp can not brows any website or can not use yahoo chat any more, it only can use VPN connection to VPN server. Please help me to solve this problem!!! Thanks b4 hands!!!!

gateway problem

You can just do it by simply disable using the remote gateway.

-Right click the connection icon
-proporties
-i nternet function
-internet protocol(tcp/ip)
-adva nce
-untick the using remote default gateway

Actually, your problem is quite usually occure and the answer is already exist in this forum. If you can read though this forum to look for your question, you can get the answer.

I am also a newbie of VPN, I come here because i am also looking for the answer of my question. However, I can't find a solution here.

Another question about VPN

My machine is running Windows Server 2000, How can i make my machine do both VPN Server and Sharing Internet to all the machines in LAN (192.168.0.x). My windows server 2000 has 2 network cards, one is connecting to the Internet (Public IP) and other connecting to the machines in LAN (192.168.0.x). I see when i config my computer to be a VPN server that time i can not use Internet Connection Sharing function. Please help me!!!
