I was used
to at a company using
Cisco's VPN client to
make a secure connection
from home to work
network and, then
using remote desktop to
remote in to my work pc
behind the firewall.
This worked fast and
great!! just one login to
my work pc. Once you
made the VPN connection
you were on the network
and could do anything
on the network like your
pc was there at
work.
I have
changed jobs. Now my new
work uses Terminal
Services - where I
have to remote into there
Terminal Services Server
then from that server
I have to remote into my
machine. Slow!!! to many
logins!!! Ok I'm not
a network person so maybe
someone can explain why
one way is better
then the other and,
why not use the way my
first work experience
does it?
Seams to
be better.
thanks
for your time gv |
