VPN through a FIOS router
----------
I have a Static IP address and the computer on the lan set up with a static IP. I can access the computer from other computers on my net, but not from the internet. I've set up port forwarding on ports 47 and 1723.

1: What would be the correct command format to access the computer via the net?

2: What could I be missing?

The port 47 for Ip and 1723 for pptp.
You have opened this 2 port on router to bypass it for VPN connection.Dsiable all the firewalls and configure the PPTP VPN client(Which is inbuilt in windows computers xp and vista) and connect VPN through Intenet.

Let me know the status.
