VPN used for what?

VPN stands for virtual
private network.
VPN
is used to establish a
secure connection between
two private
networks,using a public
network(i.e.internet).eg
it is used when an
employee wants to
establish a connection to
the office network from
his home using the
internet.
There
are two type of vpn
connection
1)point to
point or gateway to
gateway.
2)remote
