- 4 users in remote
places with internet
connections to my 2k
server so they can use
outlook for email and to
transfer very small
amount of data ie. excel
spreadsheet. what is the
best way to accomplish
this? i tried setting up
a VPN in 2kserver, and it
worked however there was
conflicts with other
computers on my network
and it would not let most
of the time 2 of them on
randomly picking two
every time? | phildom Member since: 2001-11-20 10:00:00 | posted: 2002-03-26 17:56:04 Win2k VPN ---------- Have you checked out our

set to? Sounds like it
can be a few things. Is
the VPN box assigning you
client address when you
connect? Can you ping
anything on the host LAN?

that.

that pool and everything
works wonderfully.
except for the internal
boxes acctually
physically connected to
the network.
Can
you ping anything on the
host LAN? not sure,
on the VPN client I can
use the internet and
email and everything get
on the server drives etc.
On the internal
computers that loose the
connection or whatever i
cannot use network
drives/printers however;
i can use the internet
just fine. I thought it
was a licensing problem
so we cleared some seats
and it still does it AT
random.... although it
seems to be happening
with a select few
addresses. but this
could just be
coinsidence. | josh1856 Member since: 2002-03-12 12:34:59 | posted: 2002-03-31 09:48:49 vpn ---------- >>What is your DHCP scope
