guides on the net for the
use of a VPN just to link
2 desktop standard WinXP
machines. Is this even
possible? I can get a
machine to log onto mine,
but there is no way to
browse or anything, you
can only see the standard
win XP connection
stats.
All help
appreciated! | phildom Member since: 2001-11-20 10:00:00 | posted: 2002-03-25 17:12:57 WinXP to WinXP VPN ---------- Not possible without the
help of third party
hardware or
software. What are you
trying to
accomplish? You can
create a VPN for a few
hundred bucks these
days.

act like a LAN, so I can
share files, view the
other machine's hard
drive etc. | phildom Member since: 2001-11-20 10:00:00 | posted: 2002-03-25 17:40:14 LAN VPN ---------- So you've got two LAN's,
with X amount of
computers running WinXP.
Do you have routers
or hubs in front of the
LANs?
