WinXP - WinXP
----------
There's not too many good guides on the net for the use of a VPN just to link 2 desktop standard WinXP machines. Is this even possible? I can get a machine to log onto mine, but there is no way to browse or anything, you can only see the standard win XP connection stats.

All help appreciated!

WinXP to WinXP VPN
----------
Not possible without the help of third party hardware or software.
What are you trying to accomplish?
You can create a VPN for a few hundred bucks these days.

I just want the VPN to act like a LAN, so I can share files, view the other machine's hard drive etc.

LAN VPN

So you've got two LAN's, with X amount of computers running WinXP.
Do you have routers or hubs in front of the LANs?

My computer which has the ADSL connection also is connected to a switch which is connected to another computer...the computer thats 700km away that I'm trying to connect to is in the same situation...Bigpond Cable connected to it, and also on a switch with 3 other computers.
