Windows 98 VPN and Oracle
SQL*Plus

When I connect to an NT
Server using VPN on a
Windows 98 system and
activate SQL*Plus, I
experience a strange
problem. I can execute
queries and make lists of
files for specific
owners, but when I try to
describe a file, the
system stops responding.
I have gone through
numerous tests and the
only thing causing the
not responding message in
the Close Programs window
is when I try to do a
describe on a file.
Has anyone else
come across this problem?
I upgraded the Windows
98 VPN from the Microsoft
Website, but still have
this problem. I would
appreciate any help I can
get. Several of us are
having the same
problem.
