lan vpn ---------- I have two lans connected
by vpn, the first one is
set to network 10.3.1.0
subnet 255.255.255.0 and
the 2nd one is set to
10.3.2.0 subnet
255.255.255.0

want to be able to print
from a windows xp machine
on the 1st lan to a
printer connected to
another windows xp
machine on the 2nd
lan.
I can ping
the ip addresses of any
of the computers on
either lan, but after
that I am lost. Any
help?

sharing that is the
problem here, I m not
sure,,,but here
goes.
If you goto
the PC where the printer
is connected to, right
click on it and share it
out as say "PRINT01" then
you should be able to get
to it from your other
PC.
Now logon to
your other PC, the remote
one, and goto STRAT, RUN,
then type in the
following:
\\10.3.
1.x\PRINT01
(where
"x" is the IP of the PC
with the Printer attached
and shared)
It
should then come up with,
"The printer onthe remote
PC is not installed on
your PC, would you like
to install it now, say
YES and it will install
the remote printer share
onto your
machine.
